I turned it on but nothing got faster

Linkfuse only helps when you have two or more working links. With a single connection there is nothing to combine, and because traffic passes through an extra on-device hop a single fast link can be marginally slower. Check the Connections tab: each link should show a latency figure.

A companion device is not showing up

Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network — discovery cannot cross networks. Both need Linkfuse opened at least once with Local Network permission granted, and the sharing device needs "Share this device\u2019s connection" switched on.

Some sites will not load

Services that pin a session to one IP address can object when connections arrive over two links. Switch flow placement to Fastest response, or turn multiplexing off for that session.

Managing your licence

Your receipt contains an activation link — open it on a device that has Linkfuse installed and the licence applies itself. If nothing happens, because the app was not installed yet or your mail client shortened the link, that same page shows the key: copy it and use Licence → Enter licence key in the app. Either way it verifies on your device, so it keeps working with no internet access. To move devices, deactivate on the old one first.

Requirements

macOS 14 or later; iOS/iPadOS 15 or later; two or more network connections for any speed benefit.
